two New Kiosks

Wayfinding and storytelling come together in the form of two new kiosks funded and designed by the Friends of First State, located in Wilmington. These kiosks serve as valuable tools for park visitors, featuring detailed maps and engaging narratives about the park’s rich history.

In a meaningful partnership with The Challenge Program, a Wilmington-based organization that provides construction training for young adults, the kiosks were brought to life by skilled hands. This collaboration not only supports the park’s mission of education and accessibility but also aligns with the values of encouraging community engagement and workforce development.

The kiosks are currently awaiting their interpretive panels, which will be completed by May 1st. Once installed, they will guide visitors through the park while sharing the fascinating stories that make this region so unique. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned explorer, these kiosks will enhance your understanding and appreciation of First State National Historical Park.
