FAQ

What are the COVID-19 restrictions?
This site of First State National Historical Park remains open to the public during COVID-19. However, as services are limited, the National Park Service urges visitors to: 
 
- Park only in designated areas.
- Pack out everything you bring in. 
- Maintain 6 ft (2 m) social distance from others.
- Stay on marked trails.
- Be prepared for limited, or no access, to restrooms and other facilities.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are allowed but must be leashed (six feet or less) or other wise physically restrained at all times.
Is alcohol allowed?
Alcohol and other controlled substances are prohibited.
What are the hours of the park?
The park is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
